In 1999, BIRKEY.COM merged operations with Chicago-based software development firm MIS, Inc. (makers of PAXit image database software), as a new division. The merger with partner Seth Grotelueschen has allowed BIRKEY.COM to expand its core services in designing and building web-based applications and solutions for corporate clients, small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Chris Jahns joined the MIS/BIRKEY.COM management team as Vice President, Sales and Marketing after a 20-year career in a national sales and service organization, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations. Chris is responsible for developing new business opportunities and marketing our services nationwide. He brings significant project management and human resource skills to our management team.

The BIRKEY.COM web application development team comprises a group of talented designers and developers with skills in:
